Framework (FWG)

The Framework Working Group (FWG) discusses contemporary relevant macroeconomic issues. This group addresses short-term and structural economic issues, and monitors risks and uncertainties that affect scenarios and projections.

The FWG also discusses possible areas for coordination of policies focused on promoting strong, sustainable, balanced and inclusive global growth. Recent G20 presidencies addressed the macroeconomic consequences of a number of topics — such as food and energy insecurity, climate change, digital transformation and aging.
