“The Forest will speak for itself”. These were the words of the president of the Republic and also of G2O, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, in an event about forests at COP28, which is taking place in Dubai, in the Arab Emirates.

Standing beside the Minister of the Environment and Climate Change, Marina Silva, Lula stressed the commitment with the environmental agenda, one of the vital issues for G20 during the Brazilian presidency.

With the goal of building a just world and a sustainable planet, the slogan for this year, the Sherpas Track counts on an unprecedent task force for the Global Mobilization against Climate Change. The task force will promote dialog among financial institutions and international organisms to respond to the climate emergency.
